Hampton Waterworks, London
These grand Victorian industrial waterworks buildings on the western edge of London were constructed in 1853 with vast engine houses for large-scale coal fired pumping. The careful restoration, refurbishment and extension of these Grade II Listed buildings will bring them back to life providing new homes and co-working space. The design maintains a strong juxtaposition between the heavy stone existing buildings and the contemporary modern additions, with each part enriching the other.
