The Lawns combines two surplus and degraded spaces to provide a small, infill residential development in a south London neighbourhood. The new access lane is edged with raised planters growing high level tall planting to provide privacy screening and soften the brick wall along the site boundary. Each dwelling is articulated as an individual home and is entered from a front door directly off the lane with a light and airy ground floor living space extending out to the walled private garden.
